July 20, 2015: I am currently lecturing on “Potable Water” on Saturday’s at 1:30 pm at Oregon State University’s Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport, Oregon. I will stress what waters are safe for humans to drink, where to get it, and how to process water to make it “safe to drink.”
June 20, 2015: I just revised an earlier post to include the subject “How Do We Get Enough Drinking Water In A Crisis?” I will email a free pamphlet on this subject to anyone who asks. email@example.com
June 13, 2013: I went to the University of California Davis, California, where I attended the graduation ceremonies of this year’s PhD candidates. My daughter, Rebecca Duerr, received a PhD in Animal Biology. She previously received a DVM from U. Cal. Davis.
Needless to say, I am very proud of her.
My family now has 4 generations of PhD recipients. My father would have been very proud. He only finished the 2nd grade. His English was better than mine, and English was his second language.
I welcome suggestions and comments. I’ll even respond to them!
